Compliance Integration

A mapping layer that formally connects CGMI maturity ratings and appraisal evidence to external accountability frameworks. Schools can use their CGMI appraisal report as a compliance evidence artifact in grant applications, authorizer submissions, and state accountability processes.

How CGMI-C activates by level

Level 1Diagnostic only

Identify which compliance frameworks are not yet satisfied by current governance maturity.

Level 2Full activation

Appraisal report can be submitted as compliance evidence for all mapped frameworks.

Level 3–4Enhanced

Appraisal report carries stronger evidentiary weight. Compliance exhibit package included in Guided or Certified Appraisal output.

Level 5Enhanced — Certified

Full compliance artifact set. Level 5 requires a Certified Appraisal, which produces the highest evidentiary weight.

What the CGMI-C compliance exhibit contains

  • ·Cross-reference table: CGMI criteria mapped to specific external framework requirements
  • ·Evidence citations: which appraisal findings satisfy which external criteria
  • ·Gap notation: external requirements not satisfied by current CGMI level, with advancement pathway

Pursuing CGMI-C Aligned Program designation

For state associations and grant programs that want to formally recognize CGMI appraisal reports as compliance evidence within their own accountability processes.

Requirements

  • 1.Program has reviewed the CGMI-C mapping documentation for their framework
  • 2.Program staff have completed a CGMI-C alignment review session with CGMI
  • 3.Program has published guidance indicating CGMI appraisal reports are acceptable evidence artifacts

Process

  1. 1.Contact CGMI to initiate a CGMI-C alignment review
  2. 2.CGMI maps program requirements to CGMI criteria
  3. 3.Mapping is published in the CGMI-C documentation and on this page
  4. 4.Program is listed as a CGMI-C Aligned Program
  5. 5.Schools in that program can immediately use their CGMI appraisal reports as evidence artifacts
